About me
Raised in the humble mountain town of Banff, Alberta. I began volunteering at Banff’s Full Gospel Church at the age of sixteen. There I learned LIVE production for a variety of events.
During lockdown, I found myself employed at my church where I slowly created an online presence through social media, while building a full multi-media suite for the church. Developing a passion for this trade, I decided to enroll in SAIT’s Radio, Television and Broadcast News (RTBN) program in 2022 specializing in Broadcast News.
During my time in the program, I increased my knowledge in video and audio productions through the format of news and sports as forms of storytelling.
After graduating from RTBN in 2023, I was hired by the Windspeaker Radio Network and was stationed at CJWE’s Calgary office as a Community Reporter. During my time as a Reporter at an Indigenous owned Network, opened many unique opportunities to connect with Metis and First Nations communities and organizations to share they’re stories with an Indigenous lens. Being at the station also opened other opportunities to host a Friday Night Show at the station and interact with Artists of various music genres at the station or at festivals.
Outside of the job I have worked on various projects including the Deadly Uncle Podcast and a music video for Uncle Trent and Friends.
